Forty years ago, when Nora and her husband, Admiral Claude Cumberlege, first began their love affair with the villa that was to become The Sea Club in the small village of Cala Ratjada, the area was populated by olive groves, fishing boats and little else.
It hasn’t changed that much through the years, and once within the cool, white washed walls of The Sea Club overlooking the azure Mediterranean, you’ll not only understand why Nora and Claude fell in love with this special place but also why generations of families, now old friends of The Sea Club, have continued to visit every year, whilst recommending it to new people who can then discover this very special place.

THE FOOD
Food is freshly prepared each day by the cordon bleu chef and their team, with as much produce as possible being bought from the local shops and markets in the town.Has a licence You can indulge in a three-course dinner with fine wines, or ask the friendly staff to arrange a lunchtime picnic for the beach, a snack at the bar, a local paella, or a barbecue.
